Exploring Different Staff Attire Options with DIENS Hospitality

When it comes to hosting memorable events, every detail counts, including the appearance of your service staff. The attire worn by the staff at an event can significantly impact the overall atmosphere and leave a lasting impression on guests. At DIENS Hospitality, we understand the importance of creating a seamless and visually appealing experience. In this blog post, we’ll delve into various service staff attire options, highlighting their unique qualities and how they contribute to the overall event ambience.

1. White shirts with Bow Ties

Bow ties exude elegance and sophistication, making them a popular choice for formal events. They add a touch of class to any outfit and give service staff a polished appearance. A bow tie paired with a tailored black suit or a crisp white shirt and black trousers creates a timeless look that aligns well with upscale events like galas, award ceremonies, and weddings.

2. White shirt with Black Waistcoats

Waistcoats can add a touch of refinement to the attire of service staff. Pairing a black waistcoat with a white shirt and black pants/skirt creates a smart and eye-catching ensemble. This option is particularly suitable for formal occasions, such as upscale banquets and fundraisers. The waistcoats help distinguish the staff from the guests while maintaining an air of professionalism.

3. Suspenders

Suspenders offer a stylish and retro-inspired addition to service staff attire. They can be paired with black pants or skirts and a white shirt for a quirky look. Suspenders add a touch of personality to the staff’s attire and can help create a unique ambience, particularly for themed events or venues with a vintage aesthetic.

4. Black and White Attire without an apron

A black and white colour scheme is a classic combination that never goes out of style. Opting for black pants/skirts with a white shirt or vice versa creates a visually striking ensemble. This attire choice allows for flexibility in mixing and matching pieces, depending on the event’s formality and style. The contrasting colours make the staff stand out while maintaining a professional and coordinated appearance.

5. Current DIENS Hospitality Attire

At DIENS Hospitality, our current standard attire for service staff consists of black pants, a white shirt, black skinny tie and a grey DIENS apron. This combination offers a clean, contemporary look that aligns with modern event trends. The black and white colour palette provides a neutral base that complements various event themes and ensures the focus remains on the guests. The DIENS apron adds a touch of branding and professionalism, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service.

6. All Black attire

The all-black attire is a classic option for service staff, offering a sleek and professional appearance. Black shirts or blouses combined with black pants or skirts create a uniform and sophisticated look. You can also finish off this look with a black skinny tie. This attire choice is versatile and suitable for various events, ranging from corporate functions to cocktail parties. Additionally, the monochromatic ensemble allows the focus to remain on the guests and the event itself.

The Aleit Academy students who complete practical hours at DIENS Hospitality, conducted a formal study on the different service attire to see what clients and the staff members would prefer going forward. The conclusion was that most people prefer the all black look with a black skinny tie. To complete the professional look they think that a shorter waist apron will tie everything together.
