History of DIENS Hospitality

DIENS Hospitality was established with a vision to redefine luxury hospitality, offering guests a blend of sophistication and warmth that sets new industry standards. Since its inception, DIENS Hospitality has been dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests, ensuring that every function is unforgettable.

Founded in 2010, Shake and Serve, the bar and staffing division of The Aleit Group, was created to service the Group’s own weddings and events, but soon became an outsourced staffing company that services numerous venues in the Western Cape.  The company offers floor managers, professional service and event staff, barmen and porters to a variety of private and corporate events.

In 2022, we revamped the Shake and Serve brand to DIENS, a hospitality staffing solution. DIENS is all about flawless service, smart presentation and innovative thinking.

Our premier service offering includes a superior mobile bar service and professional personnel for all high-end events in the Western Cape, as well as staff training for all formal food and drink service settings.

We believe that event staff should be an extension of the host or hostess’ hospitality, and we therefore mandate flawless service and a nifty presentation. Whether you are packing a stadium or hosting a dinner party at home, the amazing staff from DIENS will handle your entire bar and floor-management needs.

Call us old-fashioned, but there is something to be said about formal dining etiquette. We cover all the bases to ensure our staff is well equipped to face a formal dining environment – from customer service basics to banquet place setting and body language. Servers will learn to differentiate the approach to suit the respective style of each event, however the fine dining etiquette practices will be ingrained and form the standard when serving patrons.
